We are excited about the conference and are working hard to get all the demonstration plots ready and our new training pavilion built. Pray for the Lord’s blessing on our work! We can plant and water, but He must add the increase!
I have been reading lately about George Washington Carver and hope to share some about this Godly steward of the land at the conference. Tuskegee is actually not far from our farm. Here is a quote from Dr. Carver regarding doing research and problem solving:
“I discover nothing in my laboratory. If I come here of myself I am lost. But I can do all things though Christ. I am God’s servant, His agent, for here God and I are alone. I am just the instrument though which He speaks, and I would be able to do more if I were to stay in closer touch with Him. With my prayers I mix my labors, and sometimes God is pleased to bless the results.” (From the book George Washington Carver, by Rackham Holt, pg. 232, 233)
